Through two public sessions, NewImages will share its perspective on the circulation of immersive works, the evolution of cultural venues, and the role of festivals in supporting new forms of creation, audience engagement and international distribution.
On Wednesday, July 8, Michele Ziegler will speak about immersive content, entertainment and the experience economy, focusing on how XR works can reach new audiences and how cultural spaces are transforming to host these emerging formats.
On Thursday, July 9, NewImages will take part in “Meet the Immersive Venues / Festivals”, alongside Paolo Loffler from Kunstkraftwerk and Natasha Faria from the Museum of Image and Sound of Ceará, to discuss curatorial approaches, audience development and complementary programming models.
In parallel, NewImages will provide personalized coaching sessions for Latin American immersive projects, supporting their development and international positioning, and will meet with Colombian venues and dome operators to explore future collaborations and distribution opportunities.
