Every year, NewImages Festival brings together artists, audiences, professionals, and curious minds around immersive creation.

To make this encounter possible, we welcome motivated, attentive, and caring volunteers who want to help with public reception, artwork mediation, and the daily life of the festival.

During the festival

As part of the NewImages Festival 2027 (April 20-25) volunteer team, you may help with:

• welcoming and guiding visitors;
• accompanying audiences as they discover immersive works;
• explaining XR experiences in simple terms;
• helping visitors get ready for their experience;
• ensuring sessions run smoothly;
• contributing to a warm, inclusive, and attentive atmosphere.

It is also a chance to discover the behind-the-scenes of an international festival and meet artists, professionals, and audiences from different backgrounds.

Throughout the year

NewImages also develops activities beyond the festival: workshops with teenagers, artist encounters, cultural mediation, group visits, and occasional events.

We are therefore also looking for people interested in supporting our year-round activities, especially around education, transmission, and access to immersive art.

Who can join?

Students, art lovers, people curious about new technologies, those interested in cultural mediation, or anyone who wants to be part of a collective adventure — you are welcome.

No prior technical knowledge is required. Above all, we are looking for curious, welcoming, and motivated people.
