NewImages Dome Competition is dedicated to immersive works created specifically for dome and fulldome spaces. It highlights projects that explore spatial narration, collective viewing experiences and large-scale visual composition, offering audiences a unique way to experience immersive storytelling.

Entropy by Limelight

Limbophobia by Wen Yee HSIEH

A silent realm, where death is immutable. Malice envelops it, and they choose to hide. "LIMBOPHOBIA" is the second VR project by director Wen-Yee Hsieh, once again immersing audiences in his dark aesthetic. The film focuses on society’s loss of insight and lucidity, and the struggle between individuals that spirals into a dizzying experience, making us witnesses to destruction. The work is silent, yet intense and unsettling.
