About

NewImages is a nonprofit organization dedicated to immersive and digital creation in all its forms.
We foster the emergence, production, dissemination, and recognition of new storytelling through cultural, educational, and civic initiatives.

Each year, we organize NewImages Festival, a major international event for both professionals and the general public.
At the crossroads of artists, producers, cultural venues, and future audiences, the festival has become a global reference and one of the world’s leading markets for XR projects.

Created in 2023, the NewImages Hub extends this mission year-round: residencies, workshops, training sessions, and awareness programs.
A network of more than 18,000 professionals fuels this ecosystem, strengthening the presence of immersive arts in France and abroad.

Driven by a collective governance, the association is committed to supporting immersive arts, hybrid forms, and all new modes of storytelling that enrich today’s artistic and digital landscape.

Code of conduct

NewImages Festival is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for everyone taking part in its events. Our code of conduct ensures a space free from discrimination, harassment, and violence, in particular sexual and gender-based violence and harassment. NewImages also ensures that clear reporting and support mechanisms are in place to make sure that any problematic situation is addressed confidentially and appropriately.
These rules apply to all audiences involved in activities organised by NewImages, including professionals, artists, speakers, staff members, volunteers, partners, and service providers. By taking part in the festival, you agree to adopt respectful behaviour and to actively contribute to a climate of safety and tolerance. NewImages’ core values centre on diversity, inclusion, and accessibility, with a strong commitment to knowledge sharing driven by innovation and the digital arts.
As a non-political association, we do not take positions on international conflicts. We are committed to creating a respectful and inclusive environment that welcomes artists of all nationalities, backgrounds, and cultural identities.
